I have used this fragrance for years, and like it. However, two things came as a surprise to me when I ordered it this last time.1. I was surprised that it was a smaller bottle (2 oz.) when I opened it, Why? Because I recall paying very close to the same amount on my PREVIOUS Amazon order, and that order was for a 4 oz. bottle. ( I was disappointed but decided to keep it anyway)2. I was very surprised that soon after I began to use it, that “the spray device” ceased to function, and it was frustrating because no matter how many times I tried to Pump the liquid contents, it would not release the fragrance. This is why I asked for a refund.

Paul Sebastian cologne is a smoother, more subtle cousin to Old Spice cologne. Unlike Old Spice, Paul Sebastian lasts all day. It starts out with a burst of barbershop talcum powder. Over time, warm spices and vanilla scent dominates. After a few hours the spice and vanilla is still detectable.My bottle arrived with a non-working sprayer. I am guessing that is a rare defect that could occur with any brand of cologne. So, at its bargain price, Paul Sebastian is a Five Star cologne for guys who enjoy its "fresh from the barbershop" old school vibe.

My husband has been wearing only this cologne for several years, and continuously gets compliments on it. I bought him these two bottles as a Christmas gift, assuming it would be the same as what we have purchased from brick and mortar stores previously. We were quite surprised when he sprayed the first bottle and there was barely any scent to it. Thinking maybe it was simply a bad bottle, he opened the second bottle only to get the same result. Both bottles had about one-quarter potency of the cologne we have purchased many times from brick and mortar stores. Unfortunately, given the return window closed before Christmas (when he opened the gift), we couldn't even return them, so this purchase was a total waste of money. I've learned two things from this experience...avoid purchasing fragrances from unknown sellers, and don't shop too early for Christmas gifts on Amazon.

I've been a user of PS cologne for about 20+ years. This recent batch that I purchased from Amazon is just not the same as the product that I purchased 5 or so years ago. The fragrance is different (watered down), and certainly doesn't last throughout a normal waking day, anymore. I've actually have empirical evidence by comparing some of my old remaining stock against the stuff recently purchased. I don't believe that this is the genuine product! Buyer beware!!

This is a very strong fragrance that eternally smells like fresh shaving foam from a can. It is a very pleasant, non-offensive smell that would fit well in any classic men's collection. In the mid - I'm subtly reminded of Nag Champa - only slightly. Overall, a powerhouse performer that will make you smell fresh and clean in a completely non-aquatic way. Like a mix between Barbasol, Brut, and Old Spice. The only issue is with the bottle's atomizer, which squirts more than it sprays, but it is a twist off and can be used as a splash as well. A++++++++++++++

NOw that im getting older, i enjoy more gentleman scents. I found out about this by asking this guy in the supermarket what he was wearing and he and his wife told me and that is the reason im here today writing this review. Its like a close call to obsession like a cousin of that or mustang with the gold color juice. Like classsy powdery type vibe. Im into buying what I KNOW i like and once i smelt it on that guy, i knew I liked it PErSONALLY not off a review. Thats that, God Bless

Ive been wearing this since I was teenager. This was not what I have always had before. I typically get a nice comment about the scent of my cologne almost daily. This time, I went through an entire bottle and never was complimented once. And that's how I know. You don't get the same outcome for 30 years and then suddenly it just stops. And the bottle was not the same either. It was smaller in size and the glass of the bottle was not nearly as thick as it normally is. I won't buy the cheap stuff anymore. You get what you pay for.

First issue is it doesn't smell like the PS I have been using for years, second is the big issue, it will no longer spray, I can't disassemble it and use it, Amazon says tough luck it's past return date so......beware.
