Smells great as I remember it as a young man and lasts very long. One of those classic fragrances that remains fresh and clean without being overbearing. I recently went to a concert and was wearing this--I met the (pretty famous) performer after the show as she was leaving the venue and she commented on my cologne--I was wearing this! I said it was an oldie but nicey! Highly recommended!

This smells great but don't expect to get whiffs of it throughout the day. It is great for me though because I use it like aftershave and it should last a long time.

I just finished my bottle of Royal Copenhagen. I had the previous bottle for at least 10 years, so it has been a while. so i purchased this bottle on Amazon. It has little to no fragrance. What little fragrance it has does not smell anything like the last bottle. I do not know where to get the "nice stuff" so if you know, let me in on the secret. But don't convince yourself to buy this.

It's crazy to select a cologne on-line, simply because you can't smell it by looking at your computer screen. I will say to those reading this, that the scent of this cologne is bright, clean, fresh, manly and just a bit sweet. As a matter of fact, it's my "new scent" and I am very satisfied. I like this cologne so much, I decided to also order the Royal Copenhagen musk as well and will review that product when it arrives.My recommendation is to at least try it. I'm not a big cologne wearer, but I am now, at least with this stuff.

Smell just as nice as I remember. In this era of big names, pricey cologne this one stands out. Old is sometimes best. Thats the case here.2009 Updateorder this product again and it was fine but the true reason for updating this review is amazon. They have taken a decidedly turn for the worse. I order a lot from them and it seems now all shipments come either wrong and with the boxes banged around as if it was dropped from a 10th floor window. Amazon, can you please do a better job? Its a hassle to have errors on your part that the customer has to return with absolutely nothing in return for the hassle. Then the condition leaves a lot to be desired. I may finally have to stop buying on amazon and for that i do feel sad.

Never heard of the brand. To my surprise it's a big bottle that will go along ways. Ths scent is impressive and has a fresh clean smell to it. Great for aftershave too!

This cologne is not easy to find. They don't sale it in the stores around here. A friend wears this and I really like the scent. I love it and so does my husband. I will buy this for as long as I can. Worth your money !!

The label is different than the last time I purchased this item. Also the smell is different. Not bad just not the same. Be aware of this if you have purchased this item in the past.

i've been a fan of royal copenhagen since 1972. it's the only cologne that i wear. i know it when i smell it. this ain't it. i just order the musk from amazon. i'll say this - the container and the color was all that's maybe right about this product. everything else, the scent was a bust. it is an insult to the original scent. i'm in total agreement w/ those who know what they know about rc. i would not recommend buying this product from this site bc once you open it to smell you can't return it - gotcha! it's being sold at fragrance dot net.

I discovered this great fragrance decades ago and I've been buying Royal Copenhagen Musk for years, kinda like the "old spice" of our Father's generation. RCM is long lasting even during outdoor activity.And yes I have some other great smelling colognes for those "special" hot dates, but most of the time if you walk by me you definitely will be enhanced by the wonderful aroma of Royal Copenhagen Musk.

I have been wearing this cologne since I was in my early 20'.s I am nearly 70 now and it still smells great and I get plenty of comments. Funny how this cologne smells so different on different people. Ladies I know have purchased it for the husbands and boyfriends, but say they just don't smell like I do. A nice clean fresh scent with just a little bit of seduction mixed in.

This is an authentic product. I've used Royal Copenhagen since the early 1970's , and this is a high quality cologne that out shines many EDTs. This newer 'Musk' fragrance is a combination of sweetness and musk that's a definite masculine scent. The scent lasts for hours with only three sprays at your preferred body locations.

This is the worst smelling excuse for any cologne that I have ever smelled! Shame on Amazon for not stating in the description that it's NOT RETURNABLE! THIS VERY POOR EXCUSE FOR COLOGNE ISN'T EVEN CLOSE TO THE SCENT OF ROYAL COPENHAGEN MUSK! TO SELL THIS CRAP AS ROYAL COPENHAGEN MUSK IS THEFT BY DECEPTION! IT SUCKS!!! DO NOT BUY!!! i WORE THIS FRAGRANCE BACK IN THE 70'S AND ALWAYS RECEIVED COMPLEMENTS. i WAS A LITTLE SKEPTICAL THAT ORDERING IT WAS NOT GOING TO BE LIKE IT WAS BACK THEN. YEARS BACK I ORDERED A BOTTLE AND WHEN IT ARRIVED IT WAS VERY CLOUDY AND THE SCENT HAD GONE FLAT. NOT THIS TIME. JUST AS FRESH AND MEMORABLE AS IT WAS. GREAT SCENT FOR SPRING AND SUMMER. AND IT HAS A TENDENCY TO SMELL SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT ON EACH PERSON WHO WEARS IT. sb

The color looks correct.The initial smell is ALMOST correct.I've used this product for a couple decades so I know how it performs. This fragrance fades too quickly. On the bottom of the bottle there is a sticker applied which reads, "With permission from Royal Copenhagen -A/S Copenhagen Five Star Fragrance Company, Bellport, NY 11713".It's not from Denmark. I'll go back to purchasing mine from the Mall.

I remember when Royal Copenhagen was first introduced in the 1970s. It took me a few years to try it, but once I did, it's always been in my medicine cabinet.Honestly, the scent at times smells almost effeminate. It's very light, but it also has pretty nice staying power. Even 12 hours after putting it on, it's still with you (and I'm a big guy that's prone to sweat, so that's saying something). I'm also pretty sure that it would smell nice on just about anyone.One of the best parts of Royal Copenhagen is the price reduction over the years. It costs substantially less than it used to, which is a nice thing.If you want a scent that is distinctive, but not commonly smelt, definitely give it a try. Recommended.

Royal Copenhagen is one of my all time favorite scents. No doubt, it is one of the best representations of a 70's cologne still surviving today. However...the juice in the 3.5 oz bottle is much less concentrated than the 1.7 oz bottle. Why? I don't know. But I have bought 3 small bottles are they're all more potent than the larger one. I wouldn't buy the bigger one. It's watered down, more floral, and just doesn't last as long. Only buy the big one if you want a subtler scent.

Ah yes, Daddy smell. That is what my wife said as soon as I put it on. -My all time favorite. I have been saving the last of my cologne because I couldn't find it anywhere. Now I can use it at will. This American version is a bit weaker than the original which I think was oil based perfume. This seems to be water based and therefore not as long lasting or as rich, however, the scent is still basically the same and quite pleasing to most who notice it. Nice to have you back!

i got this for my sweetie for Xmas last year, and he liked it a lot... so much that he hinted to the dog for her to get him this for Xmas this year... love the way he hints... well anyway the dog told me so i'm getting it for him... also i like the fresh smell of it on him... this has been around a while and that says something don't you think... anyway that's my review & the price is pretty decent for the size..
