Been wearing this exclusively for 35 years. Constantly getting people asking me what im wearing. Doesn't affect my allergies. I started wearing it back in the 80s during the Polo and Giorgio craze. Those perfumes gave me headaches. This one did not and I loved the smell and the rest is history! Lol 😂

Even though I read through the review - nice and bad, I thought I would take the chance and buy this to see if it was the real perfume. It may have been the real perfume at one time but it isn't now. It smells a little off, not really in an old way but just not the right smell. It doesn't last for 10 minutes. The smell is gone before I walk out of the house. I used to get compliments on this perfume every day when I wore the REAL stuff. I even thought that maybe it was the way they made the perfume now but I bought a bottle at Wal-Mart and it smells WONDERFUL and it lasts all day and I get compliments on it so I know others can smell it. And the bottle at Wal-Mart costs the same as on Amazon.

I have worn this scent for over 15 years. I was excited when it came but this is not the scent that it should be. It’s gotta be a knock off. Really unhappy with it. It doesn’t last and there is no Lilly of the Valley scent to it whatsoever. My kids used to say they knew when I was in a room. They loved the scent I wore. Now they say you smell like nothing.

As I wrote in another fragrance review, this fragrance seems to have changed since I wore it years ago. As I said in that review, I used to wear it before menopause and now I'm through menopause, so perhaps my body chemistry has changed, accounting for the difference. However, I wear other fragrances that I wore before menopause, and they are the same as they were when I was younger. so I don't know. This fragrance has a much more noticeable smell of roses now. I wouldn't buy it again for myself.

Its the real deal!!! I use to wear this perfume all the time. Its fresh and long lasting. It can be overwhelming if not applied properly. I apply it on my skin after bathing. The spray and walk through method. Thats all you need. Ot will take over a room easily if you spray it on directly to your skin and clothing. Its tempting! It smells so nice. Dont do it!!! Enjoy!

I've read many reviews that say this is not the same scent as the original. I am not familiar with the original so I can't say. I smelled it on a friend last year and loved it so much, she got it for me as a gift. I used it up and ordered another for myself. The fragrance is fresh and makes me think of a spring meadow. I don't like heavy, sweet fragrances - I like the scents of lemon, jasmine, ginger, and things like that so I never expected to love a fragrance that is based on lilies and roses, but I really do love it. This is a full-sized set, not travel size, and very reasonably priced. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it has so little staying power and I have to keep reapplying it throughout the day. nice service from this seller.

My sister & I wore this perfume years ago & loved it! Smells like the Lilly of the Valley that we used to grow in our yard! Apparently our mom loved the smell because after all these years, our mom remembered it & asked for it for her birthday. She loves it! Still the same great smell & now at a great price!!

I have loved this fragrance ever since I picked it as a gratis gift for reaching counter sales quotas!Not only was I working in San Francisco, but this fragrance founder’s namesake’, created her line in San Francisco, too!This fragrance is timeless, feminine, bold, but not overpowering!I feel so fresh and happy after a few sprays!Also, this is an incredible deal for a luxury perfume like this! Having worked exclusively for luxury cosmetics and perfume Companies, this is an affordable splurge, that will make you feel oh so special!

UPDATE**** Although the fragrance is reminiscent of the 'real' JM, this can't possibly be authentic, as in the 90s version, the 'real' JM. It is definitely a knock-off!! It begins to break down and fade significantly within 1/2 hour!!******************** always leery of purchasing fragrance. Worse than a box of chocolates. Sometimes...you Don't know what you are going to get. I have 'my' experiences!!! I just received my JM today! I opened it up, sniffed with free and clear nasal passages, and spritzed. nice concentration, and as I said; if this is not the real thing...then I don't know any different. How it is being made and packaged? Where, what, why, when?? I know nothing except for that it is labeled as being distributed by Virtue Development Company, Purchase, NY! They also have a website I haven't had the chance to peruse just yet. Pandemic, and riots, you know?

I've worn Jessica McClintock for over 30 years. It is my 'signature' scent that everyone knows me by. I've ordered previously from Amazon on four previous occasions and was completely satisfied. I wish I could say the same for my last purchase. The perfume didn't smell right. I don't doubt the authenticity of the product, but I do feel that perhaps it was aged, or something. Because this was my first disappointing experience, I ordered a second bottle with the same disappointing result. My future purchases will be made locally so I can try before I buy to insure I get the scent I know and still love.

I was worried since some said this Jessica McClintock perfume does not smell the same as it used to. Right away I sprayed my wrist and was in heaven! My other bottle had fallen in the toilet and completely blocked the hole! A plumber had to break the bottle to get it out! I have been missing it so much. Needless to say, I will not keep this bottle in the cabinet above the toilet again!

Perfection to this Southern ladies nose!!!! It's not the strength of a freshly blooming magnolia, but it's a gentler version. It's what I have always received. Not been let down with this purchase (several) through Amazon. I have gotten a million oooohhhhh and ahhs in the store. I just smile. It's the one perfume that really sets my mind to happiness.

I love the scent of Jessica McClintock EDP and have worn it exclusively for literally decades. My children have grown up and had children and I've continued to always use it. To them, Jessica McClintock smells like home, mom and grammie. I always receive compliments and am often asked "what delicious perfume are you wearing?". It's getting harder and harder for me to find and I was very pleased to be able to order it online after searching numerous department stores where I used to buy it. I am a very happy customer.

I have been using this scent since it came on the market. Since I'm wearing it I have been asked, "What is that perfume you are wewaring?" countless times. A man followed me around Home Depot to ask me, a woman tapped me on the shoulder in the movie theater and a man asked me on on airplane! All of them asked me to write the name down so they could by it for themselves or their wives. The scent lingers, smells like fresh flowers, and is truly impressive. My husband loves it!
