I remember Demeter from when I was a teenager. My mother had a bottle of the fig perfume and the simple notes were such a contrast to her usual department store perfumes. I would sneak into her room before dates and spritz some on.I decided to try to rice paddy cologne because I've spent some fabulous times in rice paddies, and although I didn't want to smell like one, I wanted a scent that would blend with the warm, fresh, earthy tones of a rice paddy during the rainy season. This doesn't really have that quality. It's fresh and strong, but as others have said, smells a bit like popcorn. I like popcorn. But it's not really what I was looking for. I'm using it as a room spray, and it works well for that which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3.

I was so excited until i sprayed it on my arm..Smells like cinnamon, NOTHING like ice cream or nutmeg; The scent does not last long at all....AND the entire bottle leaked out in my tote bag!!! It started with oils leaking out from the nozzle...by end of day it was entirely out the bottle and absorbed in my tote..don't waste your money.

This scent reminds me of gummy bears. It is sweet but not intoxicating or headache provoking. It's sweetness only lasts for a minute so I spritz throughout the day. I have the large size at home and the smaller size to carry in my purse.

Okay NONE of the reviews did this justice!!!! Y’all, this doesn’t smell like gardenia, or alcohol, or jasmine flower, or other scents that’s commonly used in honeysuckle perfumes. It smells like HONEYSUCKLE!!!! Like you know the little honey drops that we used to take out of honeysuckles and eat as kids?! Yea, that honeysuckle. It smells like the dewy, watery, fresh scent of honeysuckles. So sweet but light. It’s not an overbearing perfume but misty like the real honeysuckles. It’s literally like I’m walking through my childhood neighborhood again in the morning. I put it on after every shower and I go the rest of my day smelling like it. Everyone compliments it. Well I’ve found my signature scent and I hope they never discontinue. Definitely work $20 bucks and I’m a super cheap person so that’s something.Edit: Some ppl said I smell sour? After the flower fragrance fades that’s what it smells like. Also, the bottle leaked out a lot of the perfume.

I was nervous buying this, because so many fragrances with Honeysuckle don’t smell like the real thing. Well, I have no doubts about Demeter. If you open the bottle it won’t smell like entirely like it, but if you spray it you will immediately smell as if you bathed in the nectar of a Jurassic Park-sized blossom.I have not worn it during the warmer seasons yet, so I’m not sure if bees will be charmed by it and try to pollinate me. But I couldn’t be happier with this cologne. It’s powerful, and it’s 100% pure honeysuckle-smelling niceness :)

Ok so I am a major migraine sufferer and I realize not everyone will be bothered by the same scents but this does not give me even a small headache! I am so pleased as it smells just like real honeysuckle and it could last longer but it does last a nice 6 hours at least. I do use it a lot. I put it on my sheets also. I hope the manufacturer never changes this formula! I'm obsessed! I haven't gotten any compliments yet but I haven't been out too much.

When I’m outside, I’m always the first person to ask, “Do you smell that honeysuckle?!” It’s my absolute favorite smell on earth and this smells exactly like it. I am so pleased! I will be buying again when this bottle runs out.

Yes, this smells just like honeysuckle in heat.Demeter is notorious for hitting scents spot-on. How do they do it? This is not a manifesto on the meaning of life, only a product review, my friend.As pricey as this seems, it is well worth it. I would prefer to bathe in this scent, but simply spritzing myself with it a few times keeps me smelling like big bushels of honeysuckle all day. I also like to dab a bit on the tip of my nose for my personal enjoyment. I often catch myself sniffing the bottle.This scent triggers every memory I have of honeysuckle, and, were I blindfolded, I would be unable to tell the difference between this bottle and the real plant. Several bees, perhaps a bit dazed from their winter's rest, also seemed to think that the scent is a fine reproduction.This is a fantastic scent for women. I, honestly, would not mind it on a man, either.

I ordered this because I was in my yard smelling honeysuckles and thought I love this smell so much i need a perfume. This is sooo nice and smells just like reak honeysuckles. It doesn't last super long but no perfumes do on me. People thar have noticed it on me also complement it

Just order my second bottle. This is my favorite Cologne ever. Only thing I don’t like about it, that it’ takes forever to receive. I just order my second bottle five minutes ago and it will take over a month to get.

When this package was delivered in my mailbox, there was a bee on the package and did not want to come off it! This honeysuckle fragrance smells absolutely wonderful but I would not wear it when the bees are aggressive. Just two or three spritzes lasts most of the day. Great price and I love it !
