Okay NONE of the reviews did this justice!!!! Y’all, this doesn’t smell like gardenia, or alcohol, or jasmine flower, or other scents that’s commonly used in honeysuckle perfumes. It smells like HONEYSUCKLE!!!! Like you know the little honey drops that we used to take out of honeysuckles and eat as kids?! Yea, that honeysuckle. It smells like the dewy, watery, fresh scent of honeysuckles. So sweet but light. It’s not an overbearing perfume but misty like the real honeysuckles. It’s literally like I’m walking through my childhood neighborhood again in the morning. I put it on after every shower and I go the rest of my day smelling like it. Everyone compliments it. Well I’ve found my signature scent and I hope they never discontinue. Definitely work $20 bucks and I’m a super cheap person so that’s something.Edit: Some ppl said I smell sour? After the flower fragrance fades that’s what it smells like. Also, the bottle leaked out a lot of the perfume.

Ok so I am a major migraine sufferer and I realize not everyone will be bothered by the same scents but this does not give me even a small headache! I am so pleased as it smells just like real honeysuckle and it could last longer but it does last a nice 6 hours at least. I do use it a lot. I put it on my sheets also. I hope the manufacturer never changes this formula! I'm obsessed! I haven't gotten any compliments yet but I haven't been out too much.

I love the smell of Honeysuckle; I have it growing in my yard. Unfortunately, Demeter has failed, miserably, at capturing that delicate scent. After the strong smell of alcohol finally wears off, one is left with a smell reminiscent of vomit and cheap perfume. I'm glad I tested it before giving it as a gift to my girlfriend. She would have been insulted! Truthfully I wouldn't spray this on my dog! Don't ask me me what I really think! 🤮*Beware. This product is NOT Returnable!

Smell is personal preference, so how can one be objective? You can't. So with that in mind, this does/does not smell exactly like honeysuckle. Some days, it smells like they just picked the blooms, other days it will smell close, but you know it's not. I will say I am very fussy about scent, and I love it so much, I bought another bottle. The scent will last hours, but not all day long. It is a very sweet smelling just as honeysuckle is, but for some, it may be too overbearing. I've gotten many compliments on the fragrance. I would defiantly recommend this product.

My husband bought my this as a gift for me on our wedding day because we love the summer smell of honeysuckles. It smells just like them! Which is great if you love that smell--I could see where it would be too strong for some if you just want a floral perfume. But as a southern girl who spent her Summers eating the sweet little droplets out of honeysuckles, this is just right. :)

I'm not sure what I expected sunshine to smell like but this ain't it, haha.Overall it has a very....clean scent with like a hint of citrus and vanilla somewhere. I asked my family members what they think it smells like and the answers I kept getting where either around soap, citrus or some sort of pastries. I feel like a lot of people exaggerated with their reviews on this because it doesnt smell "hideous" it's just more of a lotion-powdery kind of nice boy type scent. I dont know if I had to describe this scent as a person, I feel it's what the papi at the corner store would wear if he cleaned up. Overall it's not bad but not something I'd wear.

When first applied, alcohol is the dominant smell. To me, it is close enough to the true fragrance of honeysuckle.I agree with other reviewers that it doesn't last. It is a nice thing it is a large bottle, so I can carry it with me and reapply throughout the day. I get a burst of fragrance at first, then once it is dry, it is gone.

I think it smells great. Doesn't last a really long time, but nice while it's around. People act like it should smell just like sunshine. What would that be? Sweat? Burning? No, it's a concept of what you think a nice, refreshing, sunny, pretty day would smell like if you could create a scent for that. attractive flowers, slightly earthy, sweet and crisp. It's all imagination. I feel the perfume does a nice job of conjuring nice thoughts of sunshine.

I was nervous buying this, because so many fragrances with Honeysuckle don’t smell like the real thing. Well, I have no doubts about Demeter. If you open the bottle it won’t smell like entirely like it, but if you spray it you will immediately smell as if you bathed in the nectar of a Jurassic Park-sized blossom.I have not worn it during the warmer seasons yet, so I’m not sure if bees will be charmed by it and try to pollinate me. But I couldn’t be happier with this cologne. It’s powerful, and it’s 100% pure honeysuckle-smelling niceness :)

I wish I was able to return it cause this smells like vanilla only.... I was looking for the other scents with a hint of vanilla but it just smells like vanilla. I guess it wouldn’t be bad if that’s what your looking for. This should be called ice cream sunday not sunshine. Also the smell was very light I had to keep applying it and after the second time of spraying it I became to nauseous with the smell I had to throw it away
